Wing Bolts
How can I remove the Bolts that hold the toilet tank to the bowl?
The bolts that hold the toilet tank to the bowl have rusted, and I’m trying to replace them. One of the Wing Nuts came off easily, but on the other side, I can’t get the wing nut loose. I’ve tried WD-40, but it’s not helping. I can’t get a wrench or pliers to grip the wing nut tightly enough to get it loose. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance!
Vice grips.
Very carefully so you don’t crack the porcelain!
Don’t skimp on the WD 40. Allow it time to soak in.
