Reinforcing Bolts in PVC pipe?
I want to put a bolt into a PVC pipe. I am going to use the bolt to thread the PVC pipe and then put a nut and washer on the other side. I was wondering what would be a good type of glue/sealent to put around the threads of the bolts before I Screw it in? Gorilla Glue isnt recommended for PVC pipe. Would super glue be good? Keep in mind the bolts are, of course, steel so I don’t think PVC cement for this would be good. What would be something good to use? Any additional ideas on how to reinforce it more would be appreciated.
You can reinforce your PVC without putting any holes in it try a metal strap to wrap around it and screw into the wall…. not sure what you are doing with PVC but i hoped that i helped
